Party FAQs
What types of parties do you offer, and when are they available? We host two types of parties:

Regular Parties:

Available daily starting at 10 AM, with weekends being our busiest times.

Private Parties:

During our busy season (October–mid-May): Sunday evenings (5–8 PM) and select weeknights by request only.

During summer (mid-May–September): Friday–Sunday evenings (5–8 PM).

What’s included in the parties?

Regular Parties:
-
Mix-and-match solid-colored plates, napkins, cups, and tablecloths.

Utensils and ice water pitchers for guests.
-
Grip socks for paid party kids.
-
A dedicated party host.
-
30 minutes of complimentary setup time.
-
Cleanup of reasonable messes. (Trash is thrown in receptacles. Food is not smeared into furniture/walls.)

2-hour rental of party room.

Two party hosts.

Unlimited drip coffee for guests.

Grip socks for 16 kids.

Admission for up to 100 guests.

Can I customize my party?
Yes! When you book, you are sent a confirmation email with a link to a Google form for customizations. Additionally, 10–14 days before your party, you will receive another link to this form to finalize add-ons, decor, and color schemes/themes.
What’s the capacity of the party rooms?

Included capacity: 26 people (12 kids and 14 adults are included).

Maximum capacity: 32 people (the space will feel crowded).

Adult Seating: 14 adult chairs per party room. No tables for adults.

Party rooms are set with kids' tables and adult chairs. We do NOT have adult tables for party rooms. Adults CANNOT overflow or take up cafe table space during the party.
What are the prices?

Regular Parties:
-
$295 for up to 12 kids.
-
Additional kids: $15 each, up to 16 kids total.
-
Non-refundable deposit: $99 (applied to the final balance).
-
Rescheduling is only allowed IF a date is available and MUST be communicated 21 days in advance to keep the deposit.

Deposits MUST be paid within 24 hours of booking or the reservation will be automatically canceled.

Final payment due 7 days before the party to avoid cancellation.

Private Parties:

$795 for up to 100 guests.
-
Includes 16 pairs of grip socks; additional pairs: $2 each.
-
Non-refundable deposit: $299 (applied to the final balance).

Reschedule once (if availability allows); cancellations forfeit the deposit.

Final payment due 7 days before the party to avoid cancellation.

Can we bring decorations? Yes! However, please note the following:

Outside balloon vendors are not permitted, but DIY balloons are allowed.
-
We offer a full balloon service if needed.
-
All decorations brought from home must be removed by the end of your party.
-
No tape on walls—only on doors and windows. Command hooks are not allowed. Pins are not allowed in our walls.

Your vendors MUST contact the party manager at least one week in advance if hired for your event, we need to coordinate with them.

Custom balloon orders MUST be communicated at least 4 days in advance or we may not have the theme or colors in stock.
Can I book a party if I’ve never visited the play cafe?
Yes! However, we recommend visiting first and offer a complimentary consultation with our party manager to ensure smooth planning.
What ages are the parties best suited for?
Our parties are ideal for children ages 1–8. Older children are welcome, but our space is designed with younger kids in mind.
What does the party host handle?

Assisting with the 30-minute setup.

Guiding guests to the party room.

Removing trash during the party.
-
Cleaning up after the event.
What does the party host NOT handle?

Serving food or cutting the cake.

Supervising children during the party.
Important to know before booking:

Nut-free policy: Our play cafe is strictly nut-free. Cleaning fees will apply if nuts are brought in cake, snacks, or goodie bags. Caterers must also be nut-free.

Sock-only policy:

Grip socks are provided for party kids.
-
Adults MUST wear socks or house slippers.
-
Boot covers are only available for those with medical needs.

Deposits: Non-refundable and secure your booking date. Card chargebacks will result in a ban from our cafe.

Catering through us: MUST be communicated 4 days in advance, and no changes can be made within 24 hours of the event.
When is the best time to schedule a party if I don’t like crowds?
For a quieter experience, consider:

Weekday parties, which are less busy.
-
Summer months, when the play cafe is typically less crowded.
Please Note: Birthday celebrations are not permitted in our cafe without a party reservation!
You may plan a small play date to celebrate but we do not allow cake, presents, or balloons without a party reservation.
